Living Our Mission By Providing Continuing Education

On August 25, 2017, the Nebraska Eating Disorder Network gathered in Lincoln, NE, to provide continuing education for area mental health therapists, nurse, and dietitians.  The event, sponsored by Castlewood Treatment Centers, brought in over thirty area providers.  Topics during the event included a case study, marketing for the private practice provider, and the use of the Three Chairs technique.

Two executive committee members, Mary Lynn Kardell and Aimee Hollendieck, presented at the continuing education event on a case study of an individual with Binge Eating Disorder in their presentation called Lost in the Cracks to comment on the feeling expressed by many with the disorder.  They reviewed their assessment, treatment modality and interventions.
